I had only one awwww moment today, and it came from my unidentical twin, [meron bang ganun? Bwahaha.] Melodya. I told her about my parinig a couple of entries ago and she asked me where my wish list is.

Cute di ba. The only time I was asked of that question was when I turned eighteen. And it’s touching, really. Wala lang.

I want to thank my parents. I know they didn’t plan it this far but I adore the fact that I was born this month. The busiest month in a law student’s life. The busiest, and unless you’re a barrister, the most fun-filled month. Aba, may libreng party at the end of the month. Saan ka pa. =)

I love the thought of it eh: Friday I go to my two-hour class. Then it’s off to my celeb. Then the following night’s the batch party. Then on Sunday is the salabong. That is practically three parties for me. Fun right.

Hmmm, I guess I’ll have one of those four-day weddings.

Early this morning I was surprised. The maid said my Dad left a gift for me. Guess what, a freaking stun gun, that doubles as a flashlight and I should keep in car to be used only against hold uppers. Hmmm, that is how much he loves me huh.

And the literature that came with it said that its other model resembles a celphone. Ayos talaga.

Oh, I remember. Kanina I went to starbs to fetch the other princess. One of the child beggars said, “ate mamaya pagbalik mo ha [bili ka], maganda ka naman e, ligawan kita.” And it came from a girl. I, swear to God, was freaked out I rushed walking.

And my sister, I doubt it if she will give me my 1000 bucks worth of gas. She does not even want to pay her P50 utang. Ibaon na lang daw sa limot. Kamusta.

O, I want to know how did my Consti exam go. After that, I can party.

And the new party planner. He has to fix my schedule, kamusta ang pagiging sekretarya nating lahat. =p But he has to do good ha, it’s me we’re talking about [ang saya ng birthday, you can pressure anyone into doing anything and you’ll end up disclaiming it with, it’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to.=D]. I remember the kwento about Shem’s birthday, when Mel got fed up talking to him that he ended up talking to Haze and complained to her about how frustrating party… actually, executing the plan could be. Fun di ba. =p

He really does have to do good, magaling magplan sila Melodya eh. Well, he knows naman what I really want. No need for a tangible gift, really. I want something that had made me glow ever since I entertained the idea of it. And it still does, mapatollgate man or a well-lighted lib. =p

It’s been long overdue. I went there a couple of weeks ago yet it still felt like I haven’t been there in ages. Actually. It felt like I didn’t spend an entire life - altering year there. Yet, for some reason, I didn’t feel alienated. I was treated as if I never left. Hmmm, my dearies are good hosts, apir, apir.

The good thing is, I found a better perspective to all of these: law school is just that, school. Four years. After that we can regroup and be the crazy noisy strong – willed and – hearted kids at heart that we have always been. A group of ten or more being like that is better and way understandable than just two people kasi, right Shem. =p

Honestly, whose reaction did I like the best? Pepe’s. Isa pa kasing long overdue, hindi kasi nagpapakita. It started when we saw Ana alone in Starbs that’s again converting into a giant freezer [awww I miss it, and my Tuesday croissant mornings.]. She was surprised and happy to see us, and get this, she asked us to sit down. Nakakatawa, para kaming bisita. She said Pepe and the rest of the people went to Fort to buy GoNuts. Awww. I miss that spontaneity, arrg. And honestly, I have never seen Pepe that genuinely happy, o baka lang dahil namiss niya kami.

I guess it’s a blessing in disguise to be where Shem and I are right now and we can only get to visit them every now and them. We can only see the nice parts of their days and well, despite our complaints about the drought in Beda, we are floating.

And as expected, what I like about them: there may be lull moments [kasi naman mali mga hirit ni Ralph =p] but those are always outdone by the immense moments of freaking good laughs elicited by the ever-classic lines of my dearies especially euns [not really a surprise there, huh.] Minsan na lang sumakit panga ko sa kakatawa, I just realized.

And yes, I also miss it. Tipsiness and yet driving home right before my Dad does. Only in Rockwell, people. Only in Rockwell.

To my dearies, fellow gangstas. Naiwan talaga sa inyo ang puso ko. Apir.

Loved every minute I spent there. Tonight, and the past year.


***BTW. I may seem like a feelingera but, but. I’m turning 22 on the 22nd, isn’t that enough reason to fuss and be expectant at the same time about my birthday this year?
Anyway. I understand how hard this year will be, I know that we’ve done pretty much everything when it comes to birthdays. Therefore I shall only ask for two things:
a. I want a good surprise.
b. I want to feel loved.
Give me those two, and I will be fine.
